I’m not really sure where this is from. If it is an audience recording, why are there only five tracks? And if it is some sort of fm recording how on earth did it ever deteriorate so badly. I can’t even hear if it is a badly balanced soundboard or recorded from a distance. So for some reason this is a really rough sounding recording with lots of crackles, fuzz, dropouts etc. Don’t know if my copy is a high generation tape transfer or if the original circulated master just turned out this way (I’m interested in finding out of course). I only know for sure that I couldn’t even be bothered trying to fix the quality in Cool Edit, and I have only passed it on to others in very few trades.

Anyway, this was the last overseas Babybird gig ever and…eh…not the most interesting place to start your bootleg collection. Only for the die-hards until a perfect 1st gen. stereo version turns up.
